Comfort Zone is Ruining Your Life!
It’s time to get out of it!

There is something that I’m actually realizing while moving forward with my life that The more I’m putting myself into discomfort, the happier I am. Well, that sentence alone does not describe what I’m trying to say but gives a vibe of what I’m going through and realizing through which perspective I’m describing that sentence. So, let’s talk about that a bit.
I have seen my friends who are closer to me were happier with what they had. I was always thinking they are lucky to be with a mind which they are so content with. At that time, I always thought to myself that I might be selfish or my mind wanted more to achieve. But later I found out that what I had in my mind, my friends had the same feelings. But we never just wanted to do anything about it. That’s the comfort zone we were wrapped into. Smushed into a bubble of small success that had no future.
From the start of my childhood, I was always told to keep a small of group friends. So, that I did. I found out which kids had similar kinds of thinking and became friends with those individuals. But through the years I realized I always had a different take on life that they don’t have, in fact, everyone’s different in their own way. Most of my friends were also better in studies, where I used to do more extra curriculum activities and read a lot of books that were not so necessary for the class at least.
Back to the point, after graduating from my university what I find out is that most of us are actually very much put into a bubble of happiness, which is so frustrating to me. The similar sets of life goals for everyone to be successful. One’s success cannot be judged by society or anyone else. It’s only measured by how he is contempt with. Again, there’s a question that lies “how much should you be contempt with?” therefore, the comfort zone.
If we look at successful people we can see them do a lot of tasks with ease and perfection. Well, at least we think that’s easy when they do it but probably not as it seems. They went through a lot of sacrifice and devotion for being in such a state.
SO !!!
How to get outside of this cycle of the comfort zone?
First of all, you have to look back at how it has affected your overall well-being. If you can get through the effects you might be able to get ahead of the comfort zone and start living on your terms. But sometimes, we cannot even think that the things we are doing are inside the area of our comfort zone. For example, simply walking like 500 meters is easy, but sometimes we take vehicles to cover that distance, which seems normal because everyone else is accepting this method. So, our mind fixates to use vehicles. but you can train your mind little by little to get used to walking. Another good one is waking up early in the morning. If you train your body to wake up early, after few months you would see that you would not even need an alarm to get up.
These were small examples, but you have to find out yourself what’s your comfort zone because there is no set of relations between the mind and the comfort zone. That’s one of the reasons if you keep staying in the comfort zone you cannot tell what’s good for you and what’s bad.
Okay !! All of this, but we do have to remember not everything is in the comfort zone. Like, if you wish to pinch yourself every day to increase your pain endurance, that does not fall in the comfort zone or outside it. It’s just some sort of accomplishment you wish to achieve.
What we are trying to achieve is to live our life the way we want. In contrast to all the things that have been said. Even if you cannot fully get outside your comfort zone, you will expand it. Which then you can use more effectively. So, that you can start new things easily and COMFORTABLY.
Use the discomfort to train your mind and body so that you can feel free to adapt to changes and new challenges. You will find how life changes dramatically. Explore your creativity !!!
